Beautiful pictures. =]
@TakingxOverxMe – Thanks. Wow that was a fast comment I just hit submit. lol
Hey these are awesome!
These are good…
These are super great. But now criticism is kicking in: I would like the flower picture if it were brighter. That way, to me, it represents the bright, healthy beauty of nature.
@WhiteyMan89 – Thanks. I shot the landscape ones out in South Dakota. I love Fuji Velvia. :) The one of my son was shot a couple of years ago and the flower was in my backyard.
@coolmousee – The original is brighter. I made it dark in photoshop.
These are really great. :)
@lizheartshakespeare – Thanks. I love photography, just haven’t done a lot of it in a while. I need to get a new DSLR. I had to sell mine this past summer. :(
Oh I just wish I could get out west somewhere and just go nuts with my camera taking photos like these.
i really dig that last photo
@roxics – a what? I take photos of my own, but I’ve never really gotten into the technical aspect of it all.
pretty pictures!!
Wow, these are really great. My favorite would be the child staring out the window.
Those photos are wonderful.
These are really great! I’m very fond of the landscapes (being a nature buff and all) Oh, and you have a really cute kid.
I have a canon rebel. I love it. Nice job! I love the one of your son…
Beautiful.
very nice…the colors are just beautiful
You know these are all beautiful, but what happened to the head shots of your beautiful girlfriend?
The second picture is very haunting, but I love it. I think that photo is by far my favorite out of the ones you’ve taken.
breathtaking! i love the columbine.
@lizheartshakespeare – A DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) camera. Back in the days of film cameras there were two types of camera viewfinders. A twin lens system which you often see on small point and shoot cameras. This is where the viewfinder is above the lens that’s actually taking the picture. The problem with this is that you aren’t seeing exactly what the film is seeing.
SLR’s changed that. They used a single lense with a mirror tilted 45 degrees that reflected light into a pentaprism and out a viewfinder. When you press the shuter button the mirror flips up and the light goes stright through the lens to the film.
Digital cameras don’t really need this anymore because the sensor is electronic and can show you the exact image you”ll get on the LCD screen in the back. So DSLR’s are really more of a hybrid of old and new. But the benefit is that DSLR’s have bigger sensors (which means better lower lower and shallow focusing) as well as interchangable lenses, and more controls.

P.S. Sorry it took me so long to reply. I’m just now going through my comments.
@roxics - no worries. I’ve been rather busy myself, so I wouldn’t have had time to process it all anyways. Thanks for the info :)
Very nice pictures, I really like 1,2,4 and 5.
Really love 5 I could stare at it all day
Stumbled across your site. Love the pictures, especially the first one.
