I think to be naked means to be nude and exposed to a look, when someone else aknowledge your nudity, then you’re naked.

Being nude or naked can be quite the same thing. Being butt nekkid tho is a whole different ballgame!
I feel more naked when I am talking honestly than when I am not wearing clothing.
I think the word nude carries the idea of the natural state of the unclothed body. Naked carries the concept of shameful or at least uncomfortable exposure. Which is what you said. But commonly these words are interchangeable.
