Do you dream in 3D?

Are your dreams in 2D or 3D? Think about this for a minute. Can you even tell? I’m starting to get the feeling that dreams are forth dimensional or beyond. When I dream, not only to I see from the perspective of myself, I also see from a perspective outside myself. Seemingly all at the same time.

I’ll be doing a post about the 4th dimension soon. I started it but I need to rewrite it. Maybe we can dive into this deeper.

  1. I do the same thing. Perhaps you’re right. I’ve never thought of it that way.

Except that I always thought the 4th dimension was time and that we were actuall 4th dimensional creatures, not 3rd.

  2. @AibellFaeire – I’m going to dive into this further in the post I write about the 4th dimension tomorrow. But yes we believe time is the forth dimension in spacetime. But we have a theory that there may be a 4th spacial dimension.

  3. I think I dream like you do, from the perspective of myself and outside myself… I specifically remember one dream (well, nightmare actually) where this happened.  Interesting post…

  4. This sounds like it would be a very interesting post indeed.

Once I had a preacher who was into devil worship before he became a preacher. He told me that in a book of demons’ names, one was named nightmare. (There was also one named Asrael – like the cat in the smurfs, and one named Hocus Pocus or Abra Cadabra, I can’t remember which.) Also, every dream in the Bible is God communicating with the dreamer. So, I think we must be a lot closer to the spiritual world when we are dreaming.

  5. Depends on the dream and what I am dreaming about.

But I have dreamed in a few different ways; like I was watching a movie, real life, and  looking at myself dreaming yet still control/and or dreaming.  When I think about it if I study an object or person in the dream the more defined it becomes.

I have a flying dream that I will always remember maybe I will blog about it sometime.
